1. Scope of Service

BetoumSante Medical Travel ("BetoumSante"), operated by Betoum Groupe SARL, is a medical coordination and concierge service. We are NOT a healthcare provider. We do not provide medical diagnosis, treatment, or medical advice. Our role is to facilitate access to internationally accredited hospitals and licensed physicians, coordinate travel logistics, and provide patient support services.

2. Medical Disclaimer

All medical decisions are made by licensed physicians and healthcare professionals. BetoumSante facilitates access to medical care but is not responsible for clinical outcomes, medical diagnoses, treatment decisions, or the quality of care provided by partner hospitals and physicians. The information on this website is for general guidance only and does not constitute medical advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical decisions.

3. Services Provided

BetoumSante provides the following coordination services:

• Medical consultation coordination with partner hospitals and specialists
• Medical visa assistance and travel logistics support
• Airport reception, transfers, and accommodation arrangement
• Translation and cultural support during medical stays
• Patient companionship and caretaker services
• Post-treatment follow-up coordination
• Pharmacy and medical equipment sourcing assistance

4. Payment Terms

Coordination fees, when applicable, are communicated to the patient before any services are provided. Hospital treatment costs are separate and paid directly to the medical facility. Payment methods, timelines, and refund conditions are communicated on a case-by-case basis during the coordination process.

5. Cancellation Policy

If a patient cancels or is unable to travel, BetoumSante will work with the patient to reschedule where possible. Cancellation policies for hospital bookings, accommodation, and travel arrangements are subject to the terms of the respective providers. BetoumSante coordination fees may or may not be refundable depending on the stage of service delivery.

6. Limitation of Liability

BetoumSante's liability is limited to the coordination services provided. We are not liable for medical outcomes, treatment complications, travel disruptions, visa rejections, or any losses arising from circumstances beyond our reasonable control. Patients are strongly advised to obtain comprehensive travel and medical insurance before travelling.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, images, logos, design, and code — is the property of Betoum Groupe SARL unless otherwise stated. Reproduction, distribution, or modification of any content without prior written consent is prohibited.

8. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Cameroon. Any disputes arising from the use of this website or our services shall be resolved through amicable negotiation first, with escalation to the competent courts of Cameroon if necessary.

9. Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute, please contact us first at info@betoum.com. We are committed to resolving issues amicably and will respond within 5 business days. If a resolution cannot be reached, the matter may be escalated as per the governing law provisions above.
