How BMTA Was Born
Betoum Medical Travel Assistance was born out of a clear and personal desire: to offer African patients secure, humane, and organized access to the best international medical care. Faced with the difficulties many families encounter when seeking treatment abroad — language barriers, logistical confusion, financial exploitation — BMTA was created to become a genuine bridge of trust between Africa and global centers of excellence.
Founded by Africans who lived these challenges firsthand, BMTA exists so that no patient has to navigate the complexity of international healthcare alone.
